Born and bred in Sheffield and with family roots in Zambia, Precious Pepala is quickly becoming one of the industries most exciting breakthrough artists. Her music is a blend of alternative pop/ rock with hints of soul/gospel drawn from her years growing up in church as a pastors daughter. Being a 21 year old, black, female artist who stands at just 5 feet tall she is, in her own words, “not the stereotypical face of power or change”. Having faced bullying, mental health challenges, and the pressures of fitting in at school, she speaks openly and honestly with young people. Through her sessions, Precious hopes to offer reassurance, practical advice, and encouragement — showing students that it’s possible to overcome setbacks and follow their own path.
