Splitxlip

Splitxlip is a band fronted by Australian lead singer Nicole Bailey Blair who is an established professional songwriter she's written records for and with Joel Corry, Sigala, MEEK, JP Cooper, Leigh-Anne Pinnock (Little Mix), Becky Hill, and US DJ Chris Lake, who is a firm favourite of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The band's sound takes its influence from Garbage and Blur, and the songwriting deals directly with subjects young people face every day anxiety, stress and sadness. She self-taught herself production, plays the instruments on the records herself. Alongside each song she has written a short self-help eBook exploring the topics the songs deal with something genuinely useful for students to take away beyond the performance. Nicole has had her own issues with bullying and mental health, so is looking forward to sharing advice and stories with secondary school pupils all over the country.
