Wallis

Wallis is a R&B/Pop singer born in Barrow in Furness in Cumbria. Wallis moved to the capital when she was 13 to attend Sylvia Young Theatre School and has been a proud Londoner ever since. She went on to study at Brit School before starting her artist career mid 2020. Her debut single 'Never Gonna Be' was picked for national airplay on BBC Radio 1 and since then she's gone on to release 11 singles, 5 going on to become BBC Introducing 'track of the week'. In May 2023 she won the Isle of Wight 'New Blood' competition and played the Big Top Stage supporting Flo and Example. Wallis is proud of her working class roots and there is a real contrast between her sublime soprano vocals, her loud personality and her strong Barrovian accent. She is an outspoken artist whose lyrics cover themes of social inequality, mental health, love, and respect.
